Kinetic fabric

Clothing that charges while you walk

We weave triboelectric fibers into otherwise normal garments. Friction between fabric layers generates a small but steady electrical charge, which the garment stores, meters, and can convert into TWF mining proofs.

How it works

From a footstep to a token, in four steps

  1. GenerateTENG (triboelectric nanogenerator) fibers produce charge whenever fabric layers rub together. Walking, running, even reaching for a coffee all count.
  2. StoreOn-board storage smooths the harvest and can top up small devices when you need a charge.
  3. MeterHardware signs a record of energy actually harvested. On-garment checks flag implausible readings before they leave the fabric.
  4. MintSigned energy records become TWF mining proofs. More movement, more energy, more tokens. Balances show up in the Delt app.

What's in the garment

FibersTENG yarn woven alongside standard textile thread. Survives normal wear; washing instructions apply.
ControllerEmbedded microcontroller with over-the-air firmware updates.
RadioBluetooth to your phone. The garment never needs Wi-Fi and works fine offline; proofs sync later.
StorageOn-board energy storage with optional device charging.
SecuritySecure element holds the signing keys for energy proofs. Keys never leave the hardware.
SensorsHeart rate, temperature, motion, and posture. Health data is processed on the garment and stays there unless you export it.
